Workshops
In addition to workshops run for particular clients, I also organize seminars for my Taiji students in and around Edinburgh. These irregular events usually happen once or twice a year. If you are interested in being kept up to date regarding forthcoming events, then please email me.

Recent Workshops

2010 June 4 - I gave a practice run through of the Wuxi conference talk to an invited audience in Edinburgh. Details of the conference presentation can be found here.

Previous Workshops

2009 March 21 - this was a reprise of the Spring Equinox workshop, looking at the waning and waxing of Yin and Yang.

Taiji: Quan and Yi

2007 September 4 - exploring the theoretical aspects of the symbols of change, this was a follow-up to the Taiji Quan workshop earlier in the year. Alan Coady, one of the participants, has put a short write-up of the event on his music blog. Thanks for that Alan!

2007 May 7 and 14 - a practical workshop spread over two Monday evenings exploring the symbols of change through the physical art of Taiji Quan.

2005 March 20 - a special workshop for the Spring Equinox looking at the seasonal cycle of hexagrams.

2004 March 14 - a general introduction to the Yijing, held in the Library at the Salisbury Centre, Edinburgh.

2003 July 18 - a seminar looking at the basic structural aspects of the symbols of change.
